Oh my word, this book!!!
The Dandelion is the first book from M. Leighton writing as Michelle Leighton and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Michelle is one of my few top ‘go-to’ authors who never disappoint me, I practically inhale her books! She has a great knack for taking you on an emotionally charged journey, breaking your heart along the way but building it back up towards the end.
The Dandelion is one of those books.

Still dealing with the recent loss of my mother I realised pretty early on that , perhaps, this was not the ideal time to read The Dandelion but it was too late. I was already invested in the lives of Abi, Sam, Sara and Noelle and I was determined to read their story, regardless of how tough it may be for me.
I immediately connected with Abi, my heart hurting so much for her over what she’d gone through, and was still going through. Her plight affected me in so many ways, I had to stop quite a few times to wipe away my tears and at one point I was sobbing so hard I couldn’t see.
I absolutely ADORED it!!!
I can’t recommend The Dandelion enough. Make it your next read but remember to stock up on tissues, you’re gonna need them!
