I absolutely loved Wild Child!! I devoured Michelle's latest offering with relish, couldn't get enough.
Wild Child may be a small book book but it packs quite a mighty punch! This novella is a sweet little story about Rusty & Jenna, Trick & Cami's best friends (The Wild Ones) and is crammed full of sexy, steamy, heart wrenching goodness...all the things I've come to love and expect from M. Leighton.
While I loved the banter and camaraderie between the four friends I particularly loved the hot flirting between Rusty & Jenna, even though at times they frustrated the hell out of me the way they skirted round their feelings for each other.
Michelle is very creative & inventive when it comes to using 'props' in her steamy scenes and Wild Child is no exception - two words...Bucking Bronco. Add a sexy cowboy in chaps and a feisty cowgirl and fasten yourself in for a steamy ride!! My kindle nearly exploded reading that scene, along with my ovaries!
Although this is Rusty & Jenna's story we still get to see Trick & Cami as they prepare for their wedding, so don't worry all you Trick fans.
Wild Child is a funny and sexy read but it's not without it's share of tragedy and my heart broke for Jenna. I sobbed when tragedy struck as I could relate to how she felt - NO SPOILERS.
There are very few authors who I just have to see their name on a book, immediately 1-click buy without reading the synopsis and know I won't be disappointed. M. Leighton is one of those authors, I just KNOW I'm in for an awesome read.

Damn, Rusty is a whole lotta HOT! He just left me breathless, while totally loving his sweet, sensitive side and damn, that man has some smooth moves. I found myself shouting at my kindle JUST TELL HER!! AAARRRGGGHHHH!!! Rusty has not had the best upbringing, his father abandoned him & his mother when he was young, so he has this hang-up that Jenna is going to do the same, he won't admit his feelings as he feels she will do the same as his father. This story is a short novella in the Wild Ones Series. I, like most of us ladies, fell in love with Trick in The Wild Ones but I had my beady eye on Rusty, wanting him to get a book of his own. So how lucky are we that it's here?! For such a short book we are getting quality over quantity. I have never read a novella so jammed packed with steamy take-the-bull-by-the-horns sex scenes which left me practically melting on the floor, while my heart broke in other places. And oooohhh!!! the ever frustrating relationship between Jenna & Rusty...I could just bang their heads together in some parts!
The light has shown me too much trouble lately. I could use some darkness.
Darkness where there's only me and Jenna.
Jenna is my kinda girl, sexy, feisty and independent!! (Girl Power) She had me laughing at her cheeky tempting comments to Rusty, while she had me ugly crying the next. The only insecurity she has is if Rusty really loves her and wants her to stay with him, but they are both so stubborn and neither want to be the first one to admit how they feel about each other.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars, yes because I loved it that much, I highly recommend this book if your a fan of The Wild Ones and the truly talented, lovely M. Leighton or just for one hell of an awesome story make this your next read or if you haven't read The Wild Ones make it the one after that!!
